Low Carb Roasted Cauliflower Steaks Recipe

How to Make Keto Roasted Caulflower Steaks {Tips}

  • Carefully slice the head of cauliflower so that you can still keep the steak pieces to be as intact as possible. Try to find the center stem and cut through those so you can get at least 2 “steak” pieces.
  • The whole head of cauliflower will not produce intact “steak” pieces. You will have smaller broken pieces but that’s ok. Just roast those smaller pieces too.
  • Add additional spices if you want. You can add any mix of your favorite dried spices or fresh herbs.
  • Make sure to use soy sauce, Worcestershire, Tamari or any seasoning with lots of umami flavor. These type of seasonings add great depth of flavor to the cauliflower.
  • Cheese: you can use your favorite cheeses. Parmesan, sharp cheddar, grated mozzarella, shredded gouda, pepper jack and blue cheese are some delicious ideas.

Roasted Cauliflower with Parmesan

When slicing the head of cauliflower, try to have as much stem included as possible. The stem is what holds the cauliflower into “steaks” or one large slice. You’ll definitely have some random small broken pieces, but hopefully you’ll have at least 2 slices that are whole “steaks”.
